Native American Solidarity Committee
I worked with other veterans of the Wounded Knee Legal Defense/Offense Committee on the creation, management and growth of a national organization with over 12 chapters.
We organized and educated on the issues of sovereignty, treaty rights, and political repression. We also provided staff support to the International Indian Treaty Council meetings in the United States and Geneva. Our focus was on Cointelpro, FBI repression, Leonard Peltier, recognition by the United Nations of Indigenous Nations within the Western Hemisphere, and the bicentennial.
